The Berkshire County Blind Society is an independant charity providing services, advice and support to over 2,000 visually impaired people in Berkshire. The society covers all parts of the County except the Reading Borough Council area.
The needs of Reading's visually-impaired adult residents are met by the Reading Association for the Blind. However, the Hospital Information Desks provide information to anyone attending eye clinics.
The Society’s Resource Centre is also open to everyone and under 19's can join the BCBS Children's Group.
