Resource Centre

Our Resource Centre, which holds many aids to daily living, is well worth a visit. An appointment is usually advisable.

Living aids are taken regularly to the Social Clubs and Open Days are arranged from time to time when you can see and try out equipment.

Items can also be located or ordered by telephone. (Magnifying glasses are not held in the Resource Centre but are available from the Low Vision Clinics in the main hospitals).

Radios, Cassette Players, TV Sound Receivers and Talking Book Players

If you are on the Visually Impaired Register, you may be entitled (free of charge) to one of these items, which can be demonstrated to you in your home.
